Oct. 25: Fall Fun Weekend!
8:00 AM: Cycling Club
Every Saturday and Sunday morning at 8:00 am the Cycling Club leaves
from the front office for a wonderful bicycle ride. What a great way to see
the rolling roadways of Bloomington.
10:00 AM: Pumpkin carving contest under the pavilion
All ages are invited to take part in this Halloween tradition.
LMV will supply the pumpkins so come and pick out a good one.
We will have several categories you can enter your carved classic.
The winners of each categories will get a gift. You can't win if you don't
Participate so grab your supplies and meet at the pavilion.
6:00 PM: Chili Cook-off contest / Best Halloween costume contest
Last year we had some amazing entries so come ready to eat & eat.
This year we will have categories like spiciest, best tasting and so on.
Because of the popularity of the chili cook-off we will set up the serving
tables in a manor that will promote moving a large volume of people quickly. This year while we are eating you will vote for the #1 chili in each
category by paper ballot. Winners will be announced immediately after eating.
Adults and children don't forget to wear your Halloween costume
to the chili cook-off for a chance to win a prize for the best costume.
We have had a lot of people request that we bring back the pinatas for
The kids, so your wish is our command. The Fall Fun Weekend could
very well just be too much fun. See you at the pavilion.
7:30 PM: Trick-or-Treat at the campsites
Be sure to bring lots of candy because this is what its all about. The kids
will have an opportunity to trick-or treat at the campsites from 7:30 to
8:45pm. This is sure to create lasting memories for the kids and adults for
years to come. Isn't camping great.
9:00 PM: Ghost Walk
The ghost walk has been one of the most thrilling and entertaining
traditions started at Lake Monroe Village. Bring a steady set of nerves
and a sense of excitement for this year we are packing a lot more chilling
moments in a much shorter distance. The ghost walk will start under the
pavilion at 9:00pm sharp. The ghost walk is for all ages and might be just a
little scary for some small children. BOO!!!!
