Park Policies

Lake Monroe Village Community Rules & Regulations

These rules & regulations will be enforced for the safety and enjoyment of our guests.  They are subject to change or modification as needed and new copies will be sent to everyone in this event.  A copy of these rules must be signed by each guest.

PURPOSE OF RULES  
These rules are created for the purpose of preserving uniformity and quality of standards, convenience and enjoyment of all persons using the campground.

GUESTS
All Guests must register with the campground office  All visitors need a pass issued from the campground office with date/site #, or vehicle may be towed.  There will be no subleasing of campers allowed.  

PETS
Pets must be leashed, cleaned up after, not an aggressive breed and not left unattended.  Pets cannot be a nuisance to others, ex. Constant barking.  Do not leave doors or windows open on RV, if you are away from the site & pet is left inside the home.  They will not be allowed to be tied outside or left on decks. No pets will be allowed in the office or any campground buildings. The Park reserves the right to prohibit any pets or breeds at our discretion.  Failure to comply will result in a $25 fine per occurrence.

LOUD NOISE/DISTURBING OTHER PERSONS
Be considerate and keep the volume of your music, voices, and other noise to a reasonable level.  Interfering with anyone’s use & enjoyment of the park, day/night is contrary to the Park Rules.  Please DO NOT walk-through other sites.  Quiet hours are from 10 PM to 7 AM and children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult during these hours.  

RECREATIONAL VEHICLES
All recreational vehicles must be approved by the manager before being parked upon any lot. No RV can be older than 10 years old to park as a seasonal. No RVs will be able to be sold in the park without ownership approval.  They must be less than 10 years of age and a $250 transfer fee will apply.  Absolutely no “FOR SALE” signs will be allowed to be displayed. A valid copy of the VIN for campers must be supplied.

RECREATION VEHICLE EXTERIORS
Exteriors of the Recreational Vehicles must be kept clean and neat. All utility connections must be kept safe, leak proof and in operative condition at all times. Paint your camper tongues/bumpers if they are rusty. Unsightly materials (as determined by the managers) may not be hung from outside the Recreational Vehicle. Exterior location or storage of any icebox, stove, building material, furniture or similar items on the exterior of the Recreational Vehicle is strictly prohibited. Water should be shut off upon departure from the campground.

LOT MAINTENANCE
All lots must be maintained by the campers in a clean, well kept and attractive fashion. If a lot is neglected, the park manager will give the camper written notice to correct the deficiency. There will be one written notice, then you will be billed for cleanup.  No dumping of food scraps or cooking grease on the ground.  It must be disposed of in the dumpsters provided and bagged properly.  Multiple warning for site violations may result in being asked to leave the campground.

PROPANE. Propane cylinders are required to be tied down, labeled with appropriate stickers, placed to the side of the camper and not attached to the camper.

LOT USAGE
Towels, rugs, clothing or laundry of any kind may not be hung outdoors in view on any lot at any time, except for temporary periods, not exceeding 24 hours. No clothes lines will be erected on the campground in any common area and all clotheslines will be dismantled when not in use to prevent injury to others. Washing of campers or boats shall not take place on any lot or upon any common area of the campground without the use of proper spray nozzle to prevent excess water flowing onto ground. No materials will be stored under the Recreational Vehicle and all materials or debris gathered or accumulated under the Recreation Vehicle must be removed immediately by the Camper upon request of the management. Pet tie outs must be removed so as not to damage mowers. If you put a pet fence you are responsible for mowing inside the fenced area.

PARKING/VEHICLES
All visitors need a pass issued from the campground office with date/site #, or vehicle may be towed.  Vehicles may be towed for expired tags, taking up multiple spaces, or parking in a non-parking space.  Vehicles that appear not to be operational or with flat tires are also subject to towing.  No mechanic work is allowed (changing oil, tires, ect.)  Vehicles violating any of the above will be towed at the owner's expense.  All vehicles and boats must be parked in designated areas.  None will be allowed to impede the streets. 

RECREATIONAL FACILITIES
All recreational facilities within the campground are for the exclusive use of Campers, campers’ family, and registered guests.  Guests must be accompanied by a camper or a member of the campers’ family when using facilities of the campground. Children under the age of sixteen (16) must be accompanied by an adult when not at the campsite lot.  All facilities and equipment are used at the risk of the individual using them. 

POOL
There is no lifeguard on duty, swim at your own risk.  For safety reasons, all children under 16 are to be accompanied by an adult. Pool hours are from 10am- 8:00pm.  Please DO NOT bring any glass containers to the pool area.

SPEED LIMIT
The speed limit for all vehicles is five (5) miles per hour. 

NO SOLICITATION OR BUSINESS UPON THE CAMPGROUND PREMISES
No person shall conduct any sale, provide any services for compensation, or otherwise engage in business upon the campground premises without first receiving the written consent of campground management in each instance. No person may come onto the campground premises for the purpose as solicitation or distribution of literature to campers, members of camper's family or guests.

GARBAGE
Garbage material must be placed in designated areas.  Household waste is only allowed in dumpsters.  No dumping of food scraps or cooking grease on the ground.  It must be disposed of in the dumpsters provided and bagged properly.  The following items are examples NOT to be placed in dumpsters, mattresses, furniture, or any large item, etc.  These large items should be taken to a landfill or removed by a debris removal service.  Items left outside the dumpster are subject to a $200 fine. 

COMMERCIAL PROPERTY
The campground is not a residential property therefore individuals are NOT PERMITTED  to reside at the campground year round and use the camper or park model as a permanent residence. 

GOLF CARTS
All guests wishing to have a golf cart must sign a liability waiver and provide a proof of insurance and must have a current year sticker.  No children under 16 will be allowed to operate them without supervision.  Golf carts must use existing drives and will have to go over the speed bumps not around them.  You may not drive through another campsite at any time, or your privileges will be revoked.  

BOAT AND BOAT TRAILERS
All boats shall be parked at your campsite or in the front field on the grassy area. When parked in the front field your boat trailer must have a boat sticker on the trailer.. No empty trailers of any kind are to be in the front parking lot. The office will show you where we currently are parking empty boat trailers. Boat chocks are not to be left in the field for any period of time. FIREWORKS, FIREARMS & HUNTING Fireworks, Firearms, and Hunting are prohibited in the Campground.

TENT CAMPING
No tent can be erected on any site without first contacting the office.  FIRES. No open campfires: rings, grills or enclosed only.

UNLICENSED MOTOR VEHICLES, ALL TERRAIN VEHICLES
ATV’s, off-road motorcycles, dirt bikes or go-carts or any other non-highway unlicensed vehicle cannot be used in the park and on park roads.  Exemptions and rules are in place for seasonal campers only.

Profanity / Violence
Screaming, hollering, abusive language and boisterous and/or violent behavior will not be tolerated.

Action Required Notices
Will be provided to anyone in violation of the rules and regulations of the campground.  Warning types include:1- Warning- you have 3 days from the date of this letter to remedy the situation2- After 3 days, you will be charged $25/day until the violation is remedied or the site is vacated3- Eviction proceedings will be filed if the violation is not remedied in 10 days from the date of this letter. NOTE: MANAGEMENT RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REFUSE ADMITTANCE AND EVICT ANYONE FOR FAILURE TO OBEY THE RULES OF THE PARK, WITHOUT ANY REFUND. 


Cancelation Policy

For Non Holiday Weekends:
Cancellations made more than 2 weeks in advance will incur a $25 cancellation Fee. Cancellations made within 2 weeks of arrival will not receive any refund

For Holiday Weekends:
Cancellations made more than 30 days in advance will incur a $25 cancellation Fee. Cancellations made within 30 days of arrival will not receive any refund
